Situated in the idyllic village of Newport at the foot of stunning Carningli mountain and a short walk from Pembrokeshire's breathtaking coastal path, this self catered holiday cottage is the perfect place for a wholesome and relaxing holiday.

LIVING SPACE
Rose Cottage offers an open plan kitchen, dining room with French doors opening onto the outdoor patio and garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, oven and a full selection of cooking equipment.

The cottage also has a utility room with stone floors, boot and coat storage as well as butler's sink, washing machine and tumble drier.
​
At the heart of the cottage is the living room with its characterful wooden beams, log burner, wooden shutters, comfy sofas, a smart TV, DVD player and a selection of games, books and jigsaws perfect for cosy evenings by the fire.
​
The main bathroom featuring original beams is located upstairs with sink, toilet and a shower over the bath (with excellent water pressure!).
A second WC is located downstairs.
BEDROOMS
Rose Cottage sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms, two downstairs and one upstairs.

Downstairs is a large bedroom with sumptuous superking bed. This room has ample space for a travel cot. The second downstairs bedroom is a cosy, charming room with double bed and original beams overlooking the garden.
Upstairs is the third bedroom, nestled beneath the original cottage eaves. This is a twin bedroom although the beds can be pushed together depending on sleeping preferences.
OUTSIDE SPACE
Outside offers a beautiful private back garden with large lawn and patio, complete with outdoor seating areas, ideal for al fresco dining and barbecuing.

Outdoor facilities include large wooden dining table, bistro tables, BBQ, waterproof boot box, a selection of lawn games and comfy reclining outdoor lounger chairs.

The large gated driveway offers parking for up to two cars.
LOCATION
Rose Cottage is located in the hidden gem of Newport; a beautiful, quaint village set by the Pembrokeshire coast. ​Nestled between the sea and the Preseli Hills at the foot of Carningli, it offers an abundance of spectaluar scenery and delightful walks.
​
Newport is home to an array of amenities, all just a short walk from the cottage. These include pubs, cafes, restaurants, a butchers, wholefood shop, post office, pharmacy, homeware and clothing stores. Each Monday morning, weather permitting the village holds a charming farmers' market selling local produce and crafts.
​
The cottage is a short walk from the estuary; a haven for bird and wildlife and the perfect spot for paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing.
​
Newport Sands, the mile-long sandy local beach, is dog friendly all year round and the ideal place for walks, rockpooling, building sandcastles, paddling and kite flying! It has a brilliant beach cafe selling award-winning icecreams. Overlooking the beach is Newport Links Golf Club - an 18 hole golf course with stunning sea views.
DOGS
Up to two dogs are welcome to stay at Rose Cottage.

There is a one-off additional fee of £20 per dog.
​
There is a dog bowl provided at the cottage and a hose is available on the back patio if required for muddy and sandy paws!
​
We kindly ask that dogs are kept downstairs, off furnishings and out of the carpetted bedrooms.
​
Newport is a predominantly dog-friendly place and there is an abundance of dog-friendly walks, beaches and pubs nearby.
